So, you really believe the "war on terror" is as bush tells you it is? Do you really believe that there is an al-queda bad guy in every dark place in America plotting and planning and eating small children? Do you really believe AS bush NEEDS you to BELIEVE in the "war on terror"? Are you really that naieve? Say it aint so, Joe. The news that bush is allowing a Nation with ties to terror, two of the hijackers came from this country .... yet bush feels this is a safe thing to do.... IS ONLY MORE PROOF that bush's WAR ON TERROR is a FAKE as far as impending attacks on America is concerned. Watch what bush DOES... then compare it with What bush SAYS....

On Sept. 20, 2001, G. W. bush told us Osama hated our freedom of speech. (The he set up "free speech zones".) Then bush TOLD us OSAMA hated our Freedom to DISAGREE With Each other........... (Then came the outting of Valeri Plame.) Then bush told us Osama HATED our RIGHT to ELECT our LEADERS..........(then came Ohio 2004) And on Sept. 11, 2001, he told us ; "Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America." (Is our Constitution not the 'foundation' of America? Then why do you subvert it? )

I refuse to lay down, scared, frightened, cowering, silent, in the face of terrorism. I will not sit idly by while in the name of the war on terror, G. W. bush tells us that he is above the law.

I will not stay quiet while our Constitution is thought of only as a "piece of 'g**d*** paper" that hinders the war on terror.

I am not afraid of Al- queda or Osama bin Laden... why are you? Why are some you allowing the mere thought of him cause you fear to the point you would give up any of your Constitutional rights for a second? I thought America was suppose to be the "land of the free and home of the brave". Well if you are willing to forego your Fourth Amendment, I suggest you get to re-writing that line of the National Anthem. Maybe you could change it to " a land on it's knees, for it's security I crave".

Osama is your new bogey-man... just the mention of him by G. W., and you allow yourself to be manipulated as you pull the covers up over your head closing your eyes tight. Not me. I'm not even sure he's "real" anymore. I'm not saying we were not attacked in Sept. 2001, I'm only saying there is not a bogey-man in every closet in America as G. W. needs you to believe.

Don't you find it in the least odd, that Osama is still free, yet your Fourth Amendment rights are being "detained", or that your "free speech" is now spoken from behind a fence, or no one ever seems sure just how many votes were cast or counted, or that our Constitution is void of the language G. W. says gives him his authority to spy?

Imagine if MLK Jr. would have reacted to the injustice, the suppression, the hangings, the burnings, the beatings, the bombings, the humiliations, and the inhumane treatment of African Americans..... as "bushists" have to the fear of terror.
What if in order to "protect" the people from "harm", MLK Jr.'s message was.... be silent... don't encourage those who speak out.. lest you put your family in harms way.. or you bring upon yourself possible death.

What if MLK Jr. instead encouraged his people to live quietly and obey the powers that were to avoid any further bloodshed and to "turn in" those who would "cause trouble" and to stay indoors when trouble makers took to the streets.

And what if MLK Jr's message instead was.. Those of you who complain about the lack of dignity and injustice.. only help those who want to do you harm to begin with.

So, beacuse of MLK Jr's COURAGE today I say... I Am NOT Afraid either... I will stand up and fight the "bushishts" that due to 'fear' want the rest of us in America to sit down, shut up, and let America be WEAKENED by a wanna be dictator all in the name of fear.

Well he's still at it. bush is still once again trying to instill new fear into the citizens of this great nation, by using his same old dried up "the terrorists are coming" excuse. Well guess what mr. bush, I am NOT Afraid !! I am not afraid of your bogey-man Osama bin laden... I am not afraid of your claims of the "bad guys" getting bio or chemical or nuclear weapons, and I am not afraid of us having to "fight them here" either.



First bush TOLD us that Osama Hated our FREEDOM to SPEAK OUT...... then he SET up FREE SPEECH ZONES
Then bush TOLD us OSAMA hated our Freedom to DISAGREE With Each other........... Then he OUTTED Valerie Plame
Then bush told us Osama HATED our RIGHT to ELECT our LEADERS..........then HE STOLE ANother election
Next bush TOLD us Osama hated our FREE NATION.........then he IGNORED our BILL of RIGHTS
OK, I'm fed up with the "safety spiel"... I am not afraid of al-queda.. I do not believe there are terrorists in dark corners planning to attack me. Democrats in congress need to come out and say...
WE ARE AMERICANS and WE Will not LIVE IN FEAR and forego ONE Liberty our Founding Fathers fought for. We are not afraid and HAVE Faith in our Govt to KEEP US SAFE by following the LAWS that makes this country so great to begin with. We Live in the Land of the Free and the Home of the BRAVE ..... not A Land on its KNEES and a Flag we Won't WAVE in the face of "danger". Our WAY of LIFE is NOT THREATENED by Osama bin Laden, Al Queda, or anyone else outside our country. Our Way of Life and our Loss of Freedom can ONLY be threatened from WITHIN by those that HOLDS Power to shape Americans psyche through scary speeches and BAD MEDIA. Why are 'some' in America so willing to give up and weaken us as a nation by allowing this administration to ignore our laws and Constitution?
Be not afraid my fellow Americans... cuz how's bush gonna look IF an attack did happen after all his cowboy swaggering hype anyway ??? That would just make the Republicans look bad. besides... as a liberal lesbian, I have more chance of being blown-up, shot, beaten, stabbed, or ran over by a bush CULTIST than al-queda in America !--------------------
