The Power of Women
Cindy Sheehan and the Jersey Girls
Before Cindy Sheehan, there were the Jersey Girls. It is, thanks to these Girls, that the 9/11 Commission ever came to be. You see, George Bush didn't want to answer their questions either and continually tried to block the creation of the 9/11 Commission. I think even today, these women are still waiting for better and or more answers however.
The Jersey Girls, more or less "camped out" in DC asking questions and raising valid points to Congress, after they were snubbed by George Bush. They showed up day after day after day walking the hallowed halls, knocking on doors asking for answers of why their husbands had died on 9/11. Similar to some of the treatment Cindy is receiving today, they were also called names and ridiculed.
Today, Cindy Sheehan camps out in front of George Bush's ranch in Texas asking why her son had to die in Iraq and what is the "noble cause" of her son's death as referred to by Bush. Is death caused by deception noble Mr. Bush?
George Bush is directly responsible for the death of Casey Sheehan and the other 1, 853 dead, and over 13,000 wounded US soldiers in Iraq. It was HIS words and CLAIMS that led America to a war in Iraq.
Recent headlines tell us that our troops are once again dying in Afghanistan. Perhaps the Jersey Girls could join Cindy in Crawford and ask Bush why he didn't get Osama, who was responsible for the death of their loved ones.
