And on Saddam Hussein, Weller said, "....brutalizing the Iraqi people, using chemical weapons against his own people and committing gross human rights violations and crimes against humanity; and supporting international terrorism... "

Compared to Weller's Father-in-Law,(pictured above) Rios Montt's reign of terror, according to an Amnesty Internatioal report: "People of all ages were not only shot, they were burned alive, hacked to death, disemboweled, drowned, beheaded. Small children were smashed against rocks or bayoneted to death."

Weller hugs and kisses the latter, because "love" means never having to acknowledge GENOCIDE.

Kkkarl Rove KNOWS that AMERICANS are "UNITED" against bush's ILLEGAL, BASED on LIES war in Iraq. Seeing the DISMAL POLL NUMBERS on ALL ISSUES, Rove knew he NEEDED to go out and via a speech, say something so ridiculous, that it would serve one purpose. DIVIDE the UNITED. Fortunaltely for America, I believe it will only PUSH the FRINGE RIGHT farther OUT of the main stream.

OK, it's official. Rep. Jerry Weller is definitely OUT OF TOUCH with AMERICA. On Wednesday, June 9th, 2005, a bipartisan vote passed the International Relations Committee, (of which Weller sits on) PASSED 32-9.

Washington, DC- Today an amendment proposed to the State Department Authorization Bill (HR 2601) by Congressman Joseph Crowley that would call on the Administration to put forth a plan for success in Iraq was accepted by the bi-partisan House International Relations Committee. Jerry Weller voted NO to :
1. Create a secure and stable Iraqi Government
2. Train Iraqi Armed Forces to defeat insurgency
3. Prepare police force to monitor post departure crime.

By accomplishing these tasks, the United States would be taking a realistic and viable approach to longer terms success in Iraq.

Don't even bother to call Weller's office, just VOTE NO on Weller, by darkening the oval for John Pavich in 2006 here in Illinois, district 11.

Yesterday the House voted bi-partisan. 238-187 Can you believe it?? Not Jerry Weller though. You see, Weller doesn't feel that his constituency in the 11th district of Illinois deserves privacy in their reading habits. Weller, it's obvious by his NO vote, wants to have the FBI check up on you if you happen to check out a book of a controversial nature from your local public library. Funny, I can't even get Weller's past weekly congressional schedules (due to 'security reasons'), but he sure wants to know what us here in Illinois are reading.

Well it's begun. American companies are beginning to "cash-in" on the American Jobs Creation Act. The title, like Clear Skies, is very misleading. Would you expect anything else from a Republican controlled Congress whose verbage is controlled by Frank Lutz?

From all the reports so far, it is doubtful that (m)any jobs will be created, but companies will benefit big time. The act allows businesses to "re-patriate" their overseas profits of the $650 Billion earned over the last decade at a low low tax rate of 5.25%. You see, the act doesn't require that jobs be created with the money, it only GUARANTEES business can bring their profits "home". As of now, companies are very "vague" about how they intend to use the money. The act does say that the money can't end up in the hands of the executives, but this IS corporate America we're talking about.

Of course Jerry Weller supported this legislation and braggs extensively about an amendment he had added to reduce the tax rate on tackle boxes made here in Illinois. That's all good, but it came at a trade off to Illinios conservation. Why didn't Weller instead demand that the bill go further to insure jobs would be created like the title implies it is supposed to do all across the country? Illinois is 49 of 50 for new job creation and Weller thinks he's doing a good job? He must be "counting" on the jobs he hopes he creates in Central America via CAFTA.

Boy, what a headline that would be with your morning coffee. Actually though, similar headlines rang out world wide in the last few months running up to the 2004 elections. For example; Illinois Congressman Jerry Weller (R-IL) to Marry Ex-Dictator's Daughter.

Actually, both the Hussein's and the Rios Montt's have very similar backgrounds.

Gen. Montt (Weller's father-in law) was trained by the US at The School of Americas before he took his military and over threw the government in Guatemala with the help of the CIA and the Reagan administration, and then went about slaughtering, some say, as many as 100,000 Mayans, forcing people to live in horrid conditions and fear.

Saddam Hussein was propped up and coddled by our CIA enabling him to over throw the powers in control before he went about slaughtering and warring in the region.

In both instances the US government turned the other way, acting if as nothing at all was amiss with their "boys" While Rummy was meeting with Saddam, Reagan was praising Montt.

GW bush and Montt have much in common, such as, When the born-again general took power in 1982, his messianic fervor poured forth in bizarre torrents. "God gives power to whomever he wants," Ríos Montt raved. "And he gave it to me."

And Montt and Hussein have lots in common too. A report on the slaughter by Amnesty International succinctly describes the kinds of atrocities that became commonplace in Ríos Montt 's Guatemala: "People of all ages were not only shot, they were burned alive, hacked to death, disemboweled, drowned, beheaded. I wonder if the Bush clan would justify thmarriagege of Jenna and Barbara to Uday and Qusay in the same way Weller justifies his. He claims he can't help who he falls in love with.

Weller's wife, Zury Rios Sosa may not be Uday or Qusay per se, but she definitely doesn't have clean hands.

So considering our Governments cries of FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY and CHOICE and OPPORTUNITY in the war on terror, and thatrocitieses on Human Rights going on even today in Guatemala, bush should have told Weller:

FUCK HER , but DON'T Marry her!!

Or like I like to say; Weller got "laid" and we got "CAFTAed"

Mr. Chairman, this motion would do one thing: It would strike the safe harbor provisions for MTBE which CBO has identified as an unfunded mandate. This is CBO's analysis of the bill, and I quote, ``Section 1502 would shield manufacturers of motor fuels and other persons from liability for claims based on defective product. ``The provision would impose both an intergovernmental and private sector mandate as it would limit existing rights to seek compensation under current law.'' (this amendment failed)

I can just see Rep. Jerry Weller rolling his eyes at this one, as he slaps DeLay on the back and says, "come on, lunch is on the OIL GUYS today".

Weller voted AGAINST the Capps amendment, and AGAINST America's towns and small business owners once again, in the interest of BIG OIL. (and free lunch)

What do you think American's would say if one of the Bush twins married a son of Dictator Saddam Hussein? (if they weren't dead) Well my congressman, Jerry Weller (R) IL 11th dist., is married to the daughter of ex- Guatamalan dictator Rios Montt. Montt masacred thousands of Mayans during the 80's. Nice huh? The murdering Dictator officiated at the Nov. 2004 wedding!!!! I'm sure Weller will be called as a "character witness" at his trial for the murders.

He's a DeLay "pocket buddy"($4500.) and has twice before been caught taking campaign funds illegally. He lives in Guatemala and rents an apartment above a garage in Joliet, IL. just so he has an address in the district. He prefers that the people in his district town Limestone pay for their own water pollution problems caused by an MTBE leak vs. Shell Oil, who owned the pipe that broke and polluted the water.

He prefers human rights violations and dead protesting Guatemalans over human rights. (See CAFTA protests.)He defended the Security Forces actions when I asked him about the killings.The last time he was in town, one of his staffers took it upon herself to BATTER A PROTESTOR whose sign obviously offended the entourage. A police report was filed. The time before that, he ran from those who came to hear him speak and HID BEHIND CLOSED DOORS and would only meet with a few people at a time to discuss Social Security.
